Port Orange, Fla., April 1 / -- RepairOne®, today announced its continued support of National Car Care Month (NCCM), a nationwide effort by businesses, civic groups, government, the media and the Car Care Council focusing motorists' attention on the need to maintain and repair their vehicles.
The NCCM annual event and the "Be Car Care Aware" slogan are designed to increase public awareness about the benefits of preventive maintenance.
Throughout the month of April, RepairOne® is offering free car care preventive maintenance inspections (PMI).
"National Car Care Month is an important opportunity for RepairOne® to educate consumers about the benefits of regular maintenance of their vehicles," said Todd Hayes, President.
"We encourage vehicle owners to come into our service center; they will receive a no obligation professional diagnostic check-up of their vehicle's condition. The inspection includes a check-up of major operating systems and a written report of the vehicle's condition."
According to the Car Care Council statistics, 86 percent of drivers believe regular car maintenance is extremely important to driver and passenger safety. Yet a survey of last year's NCCM inspections showed that 9 out of 10 cars had one or more systems, products or fluids that required attention.
