Todd Hayes
As the president and founder of a successful, multi-million dollar company, Todd has a unique perspective of the automotive repair and service environment.
Todd provides long-range vision, sets a strategic focus, and spearheads the growth of RepairOne and R1 Program Training University. In 1986, Todd founded Mobile Car Care, a chain of auto repair service centers, leading the company through its start-up and expansion, and quickly growing it into one of the most successful of its kind. In 10 years, Mobile Car Care had locations in three major Texas markets, at which time Hayes sold to a partnership formed by Retail & Restaurant Growth Capital, L.P. (RRGC) and Cardinal Investment Co.
Since forming RepairOne in 2002, Todd created his second automotive repair and service center concept accomplishing the growth of his second multi-million dollar company.

Greg Sands
Greg’s career began in the automotive industry in 1993 as a manager for JTCO, Inc, dba Mobile Car Care in Houston, Texas. At the time of his arrival, MCC operated 2 locations. Greg rose to become President and part owner of JTCO and led the expansion of the company to 38 locations in four major metropolitan areas over the course of the next 7 years. In that time, service sales for stores open for at least one year averaged better than 120k per month.
In 2000, Greg helped engineer the sale of 32 locations to a national chain and began a new venture. He retained 5 locations in Atlanta, which he has since doubled to 10, with plans of expanding to 18 by 2009. He also re-entered the Houston market and has grown a new brand, which currently boasts 7 premium locations. Sites have been purchased in Denver, Colorado and plans are underway for 5 locations there in 2008. Greg’s latest growth can be contributed to a unique ownership plan he has developed for store managers. It allows talented managers an opportunity at ownership of their location and it has been wildly successful for both the managers and for the company.
Philip Tringali
In 1994, Todd Hayes and Greg Sands recruited Phil into Mobile Car Care, which at that time had 4 locations. After a fast-track training period, Phil became the youngest person in company history to be promoted to the General Manager position. As a General Manager, he set a store record of 116k monthly service sales out of only a 3 bay service center. He also set all-time company records for highest individual weekly and individual monthly service sales and won 9 other major company awards.
Phil was promoted to the position of Director of Recruiting & Training for the entire company, to include all 4 major metropolitan areas and was later promoted to Regional Operations Manager, responsible for 20 locations in 2 cities while retaining Recruiting & Training duties for all 38 locations.
In 2002, Phil developed a direct mail advertising company which specializes in automotive repair. The company has enjoyed rapid success with clients throughout the United States and has won 5 ADDY® Awards from The American Advertising Federation.
Gwyn Herd
Controller, Partner and Managing Member R1 Program Training University-clientONE
Gwyn Herd has an extensive background of over 20+ years in corporate accounting. She previously held a position with James Moore and Company an accounting firm, which is recognized as one of the top accounting firms in Florida. She joined RepairOne Automotive Concepts LLC officially in July 2005 as the company controller. As one of her first duties, Gwyn created our current corporate office structure and implemented internal controls, corporate policies and procedures. Her responsibilities include meeting internal reporting requirements, general ledger maintenance, taxes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, human resources, bank administration and real-estate. Gwyn also created and designed several software tools to manage and measure daily profitability and track trends. She supervises and executes the accounting and reporting completeness of monthly, quarterly and year-end closings and reporting for RepairOne Automotive Concepts LLC and assists the CEO and President with growth and strategy.
Her recent achievements include the supervision and participation of the national launch of the R1 Program Training University where she is a partner and managing member. She has the responsibility of overseeing the development and national training of the accounting systems for clientONE specializing in automotive repair service center operations.
